Coach Ulrey graduated from New Palestine High School in New Palestine, Ind. in 2006. Over his four year high school career he hit .412 and helped lead the Dragons in 2004 to a Indiana 3A State Championship and a top 50 rank nationally. He was a three-time All-County, two-time All-Conference and two-time Indy All-East player. Ulrey was nominated as a 2006 Indiana All-State player and selected to the All-Rawlings Team in 2006. He was selected in the 33rd round as an outfielder in the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft by the Chicago White Sox.

Ulrey played 4 years of collegiate baseball at the Division I and Division II level as an outfielder from 2006-2010. After his collegiate career he coached two years of high school baseball as a head coach and hitting coach. He spent three years as a college coach after coaching high school as a collegiate hitting coach and recruiting coordinator at the NJCAA and NAIA level. He has been an associate scout with Texas Rangers Baseball Club since 2017.

Coach Ulrey has been training youth, high school, collegiate and professional ballplayers with baseball and softball for almost 10 years now. He has worked with hundreds of athletes that have went on to play at the collegiate and professional level. He has also coached athletes on summer travel teams that have went on to the next level as well. Coach Ulrey is the founder of the Midwest Astros Academy, housing 30 baseball softball travel teams at his 22 acre sports complex in Greenfield, Indiana (The Yard Sports Complex) and the academy is focused on player development for younger age and college prepping and showcasing for our high school athletes. Ulrey coaches the 17U showcase Midwest Astros squad for 2019-2020 season.

Coach Ulrey joins RBI FACTORY as an instructor that will provide training instruction to baseball softball for hitting and catching and will also provide baseball pitching instruction.

Alex Chestnut is a softball instructor who helps girls of any age or talent level, gain experience and knowledge to reach their highest potential as a softball player.

Before starting as a softball instructor, Alex was a 4-year varsity player at Avon High School, was voted MVP her senior year, went on to play at the collegiate level at Hanover College and Butler University, and has played travel ball since the age of 10. After a successful softball career as a player, Alex now is an assistant softball coach at Avon High School.

Alex enjoys traveling and relaxing with all 4 of her cats with her free time.

Jacson McGowan was born and raised in Brownsburg where he graduated from Brownsburg High School. He went on to attend Purdue University and continue his baseball career. After his Junior year he was drafted in the 11th round of the 2018 MLB Draft to the Tampa Bay Rays. He is currently a first baseman in their minor league organization. Along with 1st base, Jacson also has experience at 3rd base and as a pitcher. This past season he batted .244 and lead the team with 43 RBIs.
